Bryson Recycling is a social enterprise company owned by the Bryson Charitable Group, Northern Ireland’s leading social enterprise.
We began recycling in 1992 with the launch of the still popular Cash for Cans service.
In 2001 we introduced a pilot kerbside box service across 8000 households.
We currently provide a kerbside box service to over 170,000 households in five council areas: Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon, Mid and East Antrim, Belfast, Lisburn and Castlereagh and Antrim and Newtownabbey.
We also operate a MRF (Materials Recovery Facility) which is used to process materials collected in wheeled bins in the arc21 region (we accept materials from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Ards and North Down, Belfast, Lisburn and Castlereagh, Newry, Mourne and Down, Mid and East Antrim).
We currently process recyclables collected from 60 percent of Northern Ireland homes.
Our commercial collection service was launched in 2003, and we currently collect recycling from over 500 businesses and schools.
We manage six recycling centres in Donegal located at Letterkenny Stranorlar, Milford, Carndonagh, Laghey and Dungloe, and two recycling centres in Conwy, Wales located at Mochdre and Abergele.
We recycled over 64,000 tonnes of materials across all our services last year.
