  • Bryson Recycling is the UK's largest social enterprise recycler.
  • We are owned by the Bryson Charitable Group.
  • We began recycling in 1993 with the launch of the still popular Cash for Cans service.
  • In 2001 we introduced a pilot kerbside box service across 8000 households. 
  • We currently provide a kerbside box service to over 160,000 households in four council areas:  Antrim and Newtownabbey, Belfast, Lisburn and Castlereagh and Mid and East Antrim.
  • We also operate a MRF (Materials Recovery Facility) which is used to process materials collected in wheeled bins in the arc21 region (we accept materials from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Ards and North Down, Belfast, Lisburn and Castlereagh, Mid and East Antrim). 
  • We currently process recyclables collected from 50 percent of Northern Ireland homes.
  • We collect residual waste from 60,000 households in the Antrim and Newtownabbey Council area. 
  • We provide a garden waste collection service to households in Conwy, Wales. 
  • We manage six recycling centres in Donegal located at Letterkenny Stranorlar, Milford, Carndonagh, Laghey and Dungloe, and five recycling centres in Wales located at Abergele, Mochdre, Denbigh. Rhyl and Ruthin. 
  • We operate two Reuse Shops at our sites in Mochdre and Rhyl. 
  • We currently employ over 350 members of staff.
